BUSINESS ACQUISITION & LINKING
Beacon Strategies works with industry colleagues on a daily basis. We understand the relationships and strategy involved with the business. Last year we had over 200 broker-dealers meetings, met 150 solutions vendors, sat on numerous panels and attended over twenty industry conferences.
These interactions provide us with exposure to both the buying and selling side of the business equation. This also affords us the opportunity to see a logical connection when two firms may have incredible synergies between their corporate personality – their “chemistry” and the economic opportunities afforded by a match between the firms.
Services are provided in two forms of arrangement: retainer and opportunity.
- Under our retainer arrangement, a firm would retain Beacon Strategies, LLC to be their confidential representative. We provide services in intelligence, relationship and due-diligence. We do not provide legal counsel. We do this for a nominal monthly fee (retainer), plus a pre-determined percentage of a successful transaction.
- Our opportunity arrangement is based on our view of the market. Periodically, we see situations that may afford two firms - unbeknownst to each other – a business opportunity that would be beneficial to them both. Typically, we will initiate an introduction and review of what we see as a good business match. We are the central mediator of the process and are compensated by a pre-determined percentage of the successful transaction.
